The Winners are...

Following a week of thrilling performances the Junior section culminated in the Finals at Cardiff's St David's Hall. Accompanied by tremendous applause the jury announced the Junior Prize Winners.

The Senior Finals brought a double co-incidence of three finalists with the last name of Chen and three candidates playing the Tchaikovsky concerto. The Senior Prize Winners are...

Elegibility

The Competition is open to violinists of any nationality under the age of 22.  Junior competitors must be under 16 years of age and senior competitors under 22 years of age on the last day of the competition in question.  Violinists aged 15 may also enter the Senior Section.  The age of competitors will be as of the last day of the competition in question.


 

Next Competition 2010 in Oslo

The Menuhin Competition has been invited to Oslo for 2010. The next competition is scheduled to take place in the Norwegian capital from 16 to 25 April 2010.
