Competitors perform music from their first round programmes followed by a public masterclass of Competition juror, Pamela Frank, working with junior competitors and violinists from RWCMD Junior Music.

Lalo Symphonie Espagnole (movements 1, 2, 4 & 5), Op. 21
Mendelssohn Concerto in E Minor, Op. 64
Prokofiev Concerto No.2 in G Minor, Op. 63
Tchaikovsky Concerto in D Major, Op. 35

The four finalists take their choice of one of the above concertos, which span an enormous stylistic variety. They are accompanied by Sinfonia Cymru, which brings together some of the most outstanding instrumental talent from all over Wales and beyond.
