HyunJae Lim is a prizewinner of the 2015 Singapore International Violin Competition where was also awarded the prize for the best performance of Bach. She has won prizes at other international competitions including the 2012 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, Junior Division resulting in an appearance on “From the Top”. She entered the Curtis Institute of Music in 2012 and studies with Shmuel Ashkenasi and Arnold Steinhardt. She has attended summer music festivals and was recently featured on NPR’s “From the Top” 15th anniversary show. HyunJae plays a 1719 Carlo Annibale Tononi on generous loan from the Rin collection.
