“Being accepted to compete in the 2016 Menuhin Competition is by far the most extraordinary opportunity I have ever had. Considered the leading and most respected international violin competition for young violinists, I am extremely honoured to take part, and feel most fortunate to have the occasion to travel to the remarkable city of London!
For me, participation in the Menuhin Competition represents a gateway to the most serious and sophisticated level of musicianship. It will be amazing to be surrounded by so many high-level violinists and to receive critique and feedback from the outstanding panel of judges.
I am looking forward to taking part in the organized outreach programs and becoming a Young Menuhin Ambassador: what an elegant title, and honour to have bestowed! I am excited beyond measure to perform on stage at Duke’s Hall, and for the unique opportunity this provides to share my music with a worldwide audience.”
