Youjin Lee was the Gold Medal winner of the 2013 Stulberg International String Competition and 28th Annual Irving M Klein International String Competition. In 2015 she won the 3rd prize in the Munetsugu Angele International Violin Competition in Japan and was a semi-finalist in the Michael hill International Violin Competition in New Zealand. She has participated in many other interna-tional festivals and competitions, including the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis and Singapore International Violin competition. She has participated in the Perlman Music Program and Aspen Music Festival. Youjin is currently studying for a performance degree at the Colburn Con-servatory of Music under Robert Lipsett. Youjin plays on Giovanni Francesco Pressenda Violin “Ex. Schultz” 1831 on generous loan from the Munetsugu Angeles Violin foundation from Japan.

“I’m very excited to participate Menuhin Competition in London 2016. It means a lot to me because it will be held in London (where he spent most of his performing career) and celebrate the centenary of Yehudi Menuhin’s birth.
