Joji Hattori will serve on the jury for the Montreux Jazz Piano Competition

Joji Hattori, Vice-Chair of the Menuhin Competition Geneva 2018 jury and President of the Menuhin Competition Trust, will serve on the jury of the Montreux Jazz Piano Competition on 2nd & 3rd July.

The jury will be chaired by pianist and broadcaster Ramsey Lewis and the other jurors alongside Joji will be Jeff Dessibourg, Dominik Deuber, Philippe Pellaud & Me Carrard and you can find out more about the 10 competitors here.

In addition to becoming Montreux Ambassadors in their own right, the three musicians selected for the first, second and third prizes of the Montreux Jazz Piano Competition will participate in the Montreux Jazz Academy, which will be an opportunity for them to play together with the support of mentors to prepare and perform a concert.
