Sir John Boyd stands down from his position of Vice Chair of the Menuhin Competition Trust today, having been on the Board for over 20 years. Yehudi Menuhin invited Sir John to join the Board having met in Tokyo when Sir John was the British Ambassador to Japan in the mid-90s.
