The youngest ever winner of the Junior 1st Prize, Kevin Zhu who won 1st Prize at the Menuhin Competition Beijing 2012 aged just 11, has been featured at The Violin Channel’s Young Artist of the Week. The Violin Channel has featured several of our laureates thus far this year, not to mention laureates that have been featured in 2016 and previously. In April 2017 Alexi Kenney, winner of the Senior 2nd Prize at the Menuhin Competition Beijing 2012 and recent recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant, was featured.

In March 2017 Kerson Leong, winner of the Junior 1st Prize at the Menuhin Competition Oslo 2010 who gave the world premiere of John Rutter’s Visions commissioned for the Menuhin Competition London 2016, was featured.
