November 2014 – Prize-Winners are making headlines
Menuhin Competition prize winners have recently made headlines being awarded a number of coveted awards:
- Stephen Waarts is about to make his New York debut in the 54th Young Concert Artists Series on 15th December.
- Soo-Been Lee has been awarded 1st Prize at the Young Concert Artists International Auditions, providing her with three years management services.
- All three violinists reaching the Young Concert Artists International Audition finals are former Menuhin Competition Prize winners: Soo-Been Lee, Kerson Leong and Zeyu Victor Li.
- Ji-Won Song, prize winner of the Menuhin Competition 2010 and Semi-Finalist in Austin this year has been awarded the 1st Prize of $50,000 at the China International Violin Competition in Qingdao.
- In Mo Yang, our 2014 2nd Prize winner, who has just been announced as winner of the Concert Artists Guild Competition
- 2010 Junior 1st Prize winner Kerson Leong has been awarded the Young Soloist Prize 2015 by Public Radios Francophones.
