Kristina Georgieva began playing the violin when she was almost 6. She has been studying under the leadership of Professor Leonid Kerbel in Brussels for 3 years. She has been successful in several international competitions, including winning eight 1st Prizes and one Grand Prize. Kristina has participated in international music festivals including Musica Mundi in Belgium, where she played in several chamber ensembles with renowned musicians Ivry Gitlis, Maxim Vengerov and Mischa Maisky. Kristina currently studies at National Music School Liubomir Pipkovin in Sofia, Bulgaria.

“I am looking so much forward to participating in the Menuhin competition. I am very happy about becoming a Young Menuhin Ambassador. I found it very fun and interesting project.
